  • [#94] Quick Update

2nd week back from the States. Enjoyed NYC and Florida and now am enjoying my new job!

I was such a Mr. Weatherman! I managed to avoid all the bad weathers in the both states and Japan this time... Even including the big earth quake in Japan before I left for US (I was on plane and had no idea of it until I turned on the hotel TV in NYC)... Before I got there, it was 90degrees in NYC...when I arrived, it rained a little bit and the next days were just sunny and beautiful, perfect for travelling. Went to KeyWest, a little humid but beautiful weather. Went to Miami, South Beach was just beautiful for me, coz it started to become windy and rainy when it got dark and when I was busy shopping for A/X and Polo stuff  Then narrowly missed Katrina by half a day. Got on the plane successfully and went to Houston to transfer, saw in the news that Tokyo was under attack of a huge Typhoon and we were warned to be greeted by it when we landed...but again, nothing happened, I landed with perfect weather above my head, Where Is Da Typhoon!?

Will update my NYC trip later. Lots of fotos...again. Can't believe how long I haven't been back here...

New job is fantastic. I'm totally having fun here. Exciting to go to work everyday, completely unlike my last job, all I could do is to turn on the computer, stick a pair of toothpicks under my eyelids and pray for sunset... Now in this British recruiting company, I feel, Hey, I can have fun at work too! They threw a Welcome Party for me and we went Bowling... Boy I hate Bowling, that's why I felt strange when I was actually having fun with them. Hopefully this new environment grew up to become a family for me.

My new office desk below looks fantastic doesn't it? The mug cup, obviously is from MoMA design shop, so is 'Mr. Hedgehog' pin magnet... The big blue jellyfish-ish thingy is a relaxation ball called Nigi-Nigi, from Tokyu Hands, Japan. You squeeze it when you feel stressed...Useful or not, it is now touring around the company by himself and appears on every female employee's desktop...he's damn straight you can see...

And deeply sorry for disappearing for so long. Thank you for all your messages and mails. Now back for a little bit... I'm so busy and I feel that I have to choose between either catch up with my xanga or ... my life! Ummm... kinda difficult choice to make   LOL!

And did I mention that I haven't logged in so long that my computer forgot my log-in name? Yikes!

  • [#88] Want some Chicken Rice???

I thot it was rain, but it was snow,

In the snow, I had to walk slow.

When I walked slow, I feel so cold,

Coz in my shoe, there was a hole!

It's no kidding! There is this huge hole in my left shoe that sucked up all the water from the ground and made my foot wet and...frozen! That hole does suck, literally! Oh, and of course I didn't notice there was a hole in my shoe until a rainy day like this, now my foot is numb and so you can say my brain is dumb!

Last night the rain turned into snow, heavy and huge. Wanted to go get a massage at the gym but I got there too late...so just had a hot bath at Jucuzzi. Have been so stressed out recently, that's why I haven't been here updating for a while. Just finished a HUGE report my boss told me to write. The content was absolutely no any interest to me now or in the future and it's bringing me health damage...my back hurts!!!

So I have been busy searching for jobs recently and think I'm fully active in my job changing plan. Went to this Amerian finance company which will send me to Norwalk, Connecticut to train for 6 weeks in June. Also found this conference holding company that is challenging too... I need to make a decision, what if they both wanted me!?

Hey just found this nice cute Singaporean movie <Rice Rhapsody>. Read the introduction at the website and you'll know what I mean! I don't know whether it will come to Japan or not but I really wish I could see it some day. The main character (third son of the family) is hot and the website is a must see, the design is sooo cute!!! Click on the pic below and have some HaiNan Chicken Rice right now! And leave a message on their UNIQUE bill board! :o )
