[#54] Bad News
It was raining all day today and I hate that…
Just heard from my mom that my anuty in Guangzhou, China had a stroke yesterday. It was a cerebral infarction which didn’t cause any loss of ability of her legs or arms…but the bleeding in the brain killed her language ability and memories…at least for now. She couldn’t remember her son, my cousin’s name when she saw him yesterday and she’s in hospital now, can’t talk but can understand what people say. It’s a sad thing to know, I’m close to her. She’s a woman who had survived so many near-death occations in her life (long story to tell) and I hope she’d be well soon this time. Dun want to talk more tonight. I’m so sorry to hear this news. Strokes are especially cruel because of the damage they leave behind.

I’m sorry to hear that. everytime i hear stories like that, i wish there was something i could do.

I can’t relate to the harrowing times that this will cause and so I wont try to, just know that if this makes you look at yourself and be thankful of the health you originally took for granted, then something good does come out of it.
